This is the basic process we follow when supplying and fitting a wood floor:
- Home visit with samples and expert advice, measurements taken
- Next working day estimate by email
- Checking moisture where applicable (applies mainly to new builds, extensions)
- Choose an available fitting date
- Remove skirting (if applicable)
- Floor levelling (ensuring sub floor is flat)
- Undercutting of door linings and architraves
- Fit underlay (if applicable)
- Flooring installed
- Fitting of skirting or bead
- Fitting of door bars, thresholds and other trims
