Project Description
In Shaftesbury, this wood floor restoration project began when a wall was removed, leaving half the dining area with concrete and the other half with beautiful pine parquet. We removed 25 mm of concrete and applied a levelling compound to create a flat surface at the correct height for the reclaimed blocks, then added a liquid DPM to prevent any future moisture issues.
We sourced some old reclaimed parquet wood flooring from a studio in London, they were a good match and really pulled the room together once it had been sanded and seal.
Planning a parquet floor restoration project? We’d be glad to help.
